Wahl Haircut and Beard Trimmer Review
Introducing The Wahl Haircut and Beard Trimmer Kit, (#9639-700)
I’m always searching for a magical trimmer that can cut both my hair and beard. I especially Wahl Haircut and Beard Trimmer Kit because it has the ability to provide a smooth, sharp cut on both your head and your beard.
This is pretty impressive because cutting the beard requires some Precision and skill from the product, and the fact that the Wahl trimmer has such an impressive way of doing that, I decided to give this product a try.
The product has an ergonomic design, so you know that it came from high-quality material.
The material is very lightweight, and it has a durable handle for flexibility and slick maneuvers around those thin edges.
It is shiny and sleek with a gray color exterior with black stripes. It is also energy certified. It has a charger that requires 12 hours of charging time before usage.

An ergonomic material, beard and stache, hair, body, self-sharpening and washable blades
- Sleek and durable
- high-quality ergonomic material
- easy to maneuver and handles
- Breaks easily
- the charger takes too long to charge.
First of all, this product is very lightweight and comfortable on your hands. It has a great handle, so you’re able to do some flexible and complex maneuvers during the cut.
The motor is very quiet so you wouldn’t wake anyone up if you are trimming early in the morning or late at night.
The instruction manual states that you should charge the trimmer 12 hours before using it. I felt that is too long. I wasn’t very happy because I want to use it immediately. I decided to use the trimmer the next day.
During my first time using the trimmer, I felt that the battery life is not very good. During my first cuts, I felt the trimmer jolt a little. Then all of a sudden, it just stops or shakes. I guess it’s because it’s running out of battery. I had to charge it over 28 hours for an uninterrupted cut. Not a very good thing for the impatient soul.
It also has a little curve/angle at the blade so you can maneuver for a shorter haircut. It took me about 20 passes to get the shortest possible cut.
The important part is that you should not drop this product on the ground, it will break. Overall, I am satisfied with the product, the trimmer is able to provide a sleek and complete finish, and it works very quickly.
If you are running late for work, and need to shave for an important meeting, this trimmer can be a definite life save.
Overall, this is a high-quality trimmer. It’s excellent for trimming facial hair, but it does not give a very close shave.
At least, it leaves a small amount of stubble. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re primary focus is simply on shaving.
In the end, you still have to clean up the lines with a razor where your last trimmer might have provided a closer trim.
